Yeah but Miller could have ran for a 150 yards or more if they would have kept him going but instead they kept running Thomas up the gut.

Bess could have had well over 100 yards but they kept trying to feed Hartline and Armstrong.

Yes Carpenter cost us the game in the end but it wouldn't have came down to that had the play calling been better.

No matter who you blame the whole damn team at various points did literally everything humanly possible to lose a game the Jets were all but BEGGING for them to take. It all goes hand in hand, you can't just isolate one moment here or there because then you'd have to assume the other moments turn out in our favor. For example, what if the Jets don't throw an end zone pick with the score tied?

Carpenter's misses wouldn't have mattered if Tannehill doesn't throw the pick six. Or if that last Jets FG is actually blocked instead of the damn timeout. Or he wouldn't have missed at all in OT if the play calling had been better and gotten him just 3-5 yards closer. See what I did there?

I had to listen to the game on the radio so I didn't see how we were playing. I do know that Tannehill drove the team down the field twice in the last few minutes of the game. Once to tie it and once to let Carpenter miss the winning kick. The loss is straight up on Carpenter. That's why these guys get paid big bucks. It was his job to win it when he was given the opportunity. Tannehill gave him that opportunity.

Yeah I see what you did and you are right it is the whole team and not just Tanny who some seemed to nearly blame 2nd to only Carpenter for the loss.

I will do you one better than your example.

Had the play calling been better, all of the onfield mistakes together wouldn't have made us lose this game and that includes the missed FG's.

That is why I put this loss squarely on the shoulders of the play calling.

absolutly miller was looking good - Bess was open all day - what did tanny say last week about hartline "when you have a hot receiver gotta keep giving him the ball" well he must have forgot that for this week. Bess should ave had 10 catches and well over 100 yards today

hartline 9 targets 1 fuckin catch - armstrong 6 targets 2 catches WTF - Bess 7 targes 5 catches - your telling me Bess can only get 1 more target that Armstrong in the whole game

Tanny also has to do better than 46% completion - BAD

What bothers me is the poor coaching decision in the last part of the 2nd quarter.........with seconds left to play and 2 timeouts left they decided to run bush up the middle...with absolutely no intention of trying to score. none. zip. nada. zero........if this the case then why the f-ck do you risk bush getting hurt. Just kneel down take it into the next half. This blunder right there signaled the difference in the game. The one playmaker that we had is now out of the game and we are left with a rookie backfield. IMHO the gameplan changed from that point on

Bottom line is nobody gets a Mulligan against the Jets. You lose to the Jets and you're a bum.

Exactly. When you only have ONE playmaker on the team, why in he11 is in there to burn up the clock and go to halftime!!???!!!??

Piss poor coaching IMHO.

And I agree also, the playcalling got miserably stupid on occasion....why in heck do you not run twice up the middle in OT tp try and make it a 40 yard or less FG...instead, you have Tannehill throw one of his inaccurate down field lobs to Hartline again???

I am hoping ALOT of this is just Tannehill's inexperience, but I have to think a couple of runs and then a FG MIGHT have won the game for the Phins.

One thing for certain we can all take from this game IMHO: the Jets have serious problems on defense and offense. Their WRs stink, except for Holmes, and their defense is nowhere near as good as it once was.

The Phins are a terrible team. The fact the Phins were... a bit better playcalling and some unfortunate misses by the normally accurate FG kicker, and the loss of Bush...away from beating the Jets says more about the Jets than it does about the Phins IMHO.

Was anybody EXPECTING the Phins to win. Be glad they were in the game and kept it exciting is my outlook. Let us hope these painful losses are a LEARNING EXPERIENCE for the Coaches and the team and Tannehill especially.

I was damn sure expecting them to win at about five different points of the game and why not? Literally any other team would've won had they played the Jets.

All people and teams learn from losing is how to lose. I really believe that.

Yes the Jets are horrible and I expected to win. The Tebow offense is embarrassing.
