IMO, if Miami keeps improving then Miami will make it to the playoffs. Miami biggest threat to their confident in winning a playoff game is the 49ers.

Not really accurate since we've played one less game than the other teams in our division.



Well, they'll have to play a helluva lot better than they did against the Rams. Because if they continue to play that poorly, we're headed for another losing season.



IMO, the biggest threats have always been and will continue to be the teams in our division. If the Phins can't take care of the East, they're dead. They've already lost once to the Jets and will likely lose one or both to the Patriots. That's why this Sunday is a MUST win, as are the two Bills games. You always need to take care of your division first...then everything else will fall into place.

I'm glad Miami is doing better but they are not a playoff caliber team. I see the things I want to see this year. QB development, better coaching, but a very weak roster overall. A weak secondary, weak pass rush, and weak in the receiving game. Long way to go. I'd rather get a high pick than go 8-8 and make the playoffs only to be blown out by a second seed team.

I'd rather have them make the playoffs than go 8-8, miss out by a game, and have Ireland keep his job due to the "big improvement". That would literally be the worst of all worlds.

I don't think 8-8 will get a team in the playoffs, even with how bad the AFC is so far. But regardless, I'd still love to see the Phins make it. I really don't believe it'll happen, but it would be GREAT for Tannehill to get some playoff experience.

I just don't see Miami making the playoffs this year. BUT stranger things have happened. It does look like Baltimore, San Diego and even Pittsburgh are all in a decline. Hell even Denver doesn't look all that impressive even with Manning. These are usually teams that take those playoff spots. So you never know.

i think its way too early to even be discussing this and the Phins need to just focus on beating the Jets this weekend.

Like I said elsewhere, the next month will go a long way in determining the Dolphins' fate, because we have 4 consecutive conference games, including 2 division games. Take care of the Jets first, and then move on to the next game. No need to even think about playoffs yet.

That's for coaches and players... Not fans.... We get to say "what if" all season long....LOL
