No structural damage, status for Colts' game is uncertain. It all depends on how fast he heals this week.

Let's not risk him - give him a week to rehab and start Moore.

I don't think it's worth the risk, if he favors the knee he could get seriously hurt on the next hit. Moore showed he can fill the gap until we get Tanny back at full strength.

Disagree. Starting Moore makes me nervous. IMO the reason he didn't screw up against the Jets is because by the time he came in the Fins were already ahead 10-0. He'd have had to throw at least 4 picks to blow that game.

And if Tanny struggles Moore can always come off the bench which IMO is what he does best. Besides, the Fins can't take any team lightly at this point. It's not as if they can afford to just rest the starting QB for a week because the opponent is just that horrible.

I hear you DF, but Tanny at less than 100% is not the Tanny we are used to. He will be limited on bootlegs, rollouts, evading rushers, etc.

We need to play Moore and acknowledge that this probably reduces our chances of winning. But we are far from "mailing in" this game if we do start Moore.

I would not want to risk serious injury to Tannehill. The goal this season remains: Get him all the starts we can, get all the wins we can, and look toward next year. Getting into the playoffs would be awesome, but it's more important IMO to see Tannehill continuing to improve, and the team grow around him.

Exactly. This team has been short sighted for far too long. Let's look long term.....and keeping Tannchise on the bench until he is healthy is doing just that. Why risk further injury?

There is no structural damage. It's just a bruise. He needs to suck it up and play.

Right - I got it. But if he can't move like he normally does, we are risking a bigger injury.

I think this game is too important for him to not play. We absolutely need to beat Indy. In the event that we end up in the hunt for the playoffs. We need the tiebreaker.

I doubt the injury is anywhere near serious enough to put him at risk.

But, in the event it is, I think it's safe to say Philbin is smart enough not to risk the kid's long term health for one game.
