The AFC is tighter than a clam's ass right now, and every game is a must win - especially conference games against teams with the same record as you. If your starting QB can stand up and throw, he starts - it's that simple.

"tighter than a clam's ass"... I didn't know they had tight asses... LoL

Makes me think of the saying "shit-eating grin". I guarantee you I wouldn't be grinning...

Some Tannehill news from today:

From NFL.com:
http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap100000 ... y-vs-colts
Quote:
Miami Dolphins rookie quarterback Ryan Tannehill seems ready to start against the Indianapolis Colts this week. Tannehill took all of the first-team reps Thursday. He continues to wear a brace and compression sleeve over his left knee.

The Palm Beach Post reported that Tannehill moved well on drop-backs, roll-outs and throws on the run. Moore would be getting first-team reps if the Dolphins thought Tannehill wouldn't be ready.

From Jason Cole on Twitter:
Quote:
Word on Tannehill is that he has had his knee drained twice, before and after practice. 50-50 to play at Indy.

From Omar Kelly:
http://www.sun-sentinel.com/sports/miam ... 8655.story
Quote:
Tannehill, who suffered a left knee injury in last Sunday's 30-9 win over the Jets, participated in Thursday's practice and handled all of the first-team reps during the period the media watched.

There appeared to be less limping compared to Wednesday's session, which could mean some of the pain he's experiencing has subsided.

Dolphins coach Joe Philbin said Tannehill practiced on a limited basis Thursday and that the coaching staff will evaluate the injury "and make the best decision for the team."

...

“Obviously I’m not 100 percent, but I felt good moving around,” said Tannehill, who has a 75.8 quarterback rating in his seven starts. “I’m just going to do everything I can to be ready.”

Tannehill wore a brace and compression sleeve over his left knee at practice and has been receiving treatment several times a day.

“I want to play, obviously,” Tannehill said. “Everything that they have for me as an option, I’m trying it. I’m just trying to get back on the field.”
