We are comparing Angelina Jolie to Percy Harvin?

Trading for Harvin doesn't make sense. Waiting until Minnesota drops him and bringing him in then does. Harvin has behavioral issues but he is also more talented than any receiver on our roster. We had a lot of receivers do nothing on the roster over the coarse of this last year so I'm not worried about Harvin taking up a roster spot even if it means periodic play. Offer Minnesota a 6th round pick and see what happens.

Harvin is almost as talented as that white guy we have playing WR. ;)

I'd take him over Bess. At least he gets YAC and td. Plus he would be on a passing offense.

no thanks. unless Minny drops him. I don't want to spend picks on him.

Go back and look at our draft history. A 6th round pick would be a steal. Hell, the way we've thrown away picks a 3rd rounder would be a steal. I would offer a sixth round pick for a talented problem player. I would do the same thing in the draft.

All 31 teams in the league would offer a 6th round pick for Harvin. If the Vikings want to trade him I don't see any way they accept less than at least a 2nd rounder and probably more.

It's funny how the asking price for troubled players goes up and down. If the Vikes were trying to move Harvin when Santanio was traded I can't imagine anyone would give up a 2nd. But what if Harvin were to produce for several years like he has in the past? That would be the best two the Dolphins ever traded. Of course he would have to be a little asshole instead of a BIG asshole.
