Could Miami draft TE Eifort or Ertz at #12? Then go WR Hopkins and a DE (Okafor or Carradine) in the second?

Im thinking 12 is a bit high for those TEs. I still like Ansah At the number 12 pick.

Why does it always seem that when we pick relatively high, all the playmakers are already projected to be gone? Or "no one is worthy" of that draft spot.

I guess last year with Tannehill would be an exception.

Actually if memory serves me correctly, some experts railed that we drafted him too high.

The re-draft says he goes at 5.

I don't care who we pick as long as he's good enough that we aren't drafting the same position in the next five years. The good teams have players that stick so a team can draft other positions. I feel like we've been on a merry go round. Draft a player and three years later draft for the same position. It's been the main reason why we don't improve. The player we draft to replace a player is basically the same player we had before. Mediocre.

We need to start hitting home runs with these player selections. Something we have not done with any of our 1st through 3rd round selections for as long as I can remember. Every time I look at our past history I think why didn't we take this guy over what we did do. I want a draft where other teams are envious of us. One we don't look back on and envision what could have been. We are due!

Yup. And if all playmakers are gone (Including Werner. Patterson. Milliner) Trade back 9 spots and grab Ertz or Eiffert. (I prefer Eiffert)

I've seen a couple mocks with Lotuleile dropping to us and us taking him. I'd actually be ok with this.

Maybe Irlend trades down with #12? 3 #2's would be sweet.......
