I think Philbin likes uninjured winners.

Jennings is healthy now and he's definitely a winner...so I guess all is well? ;)

Right now there is a chess game being played between teams for players. Is Miami really interested in Wallace or is that a way of keeping Jennings value down. The Packers are going to "franchise" Jennings if there is a lot of interest from other teams? They want compensation for the player. If Miami doesn't bite that move is going to cost the Packers some dough. Philbin doesn't like Jennings, another chess move to keep his value down.

The Season of BS started as soon as the offensive guys finished up their drills yesterday... There is going to be so much misinformation in the coming weeks, and the sad part is that there are fans out there who will eat the stuff up. Some unnamed GM already told reporters that Cordarelle Patterson did not interview well and that Marquise Goodwin could not run the route tree. There isn't any real way to dispute how well Cordarelle interviewed because its private, so its a perfect rumor. But I watched Goodwin at the senior bowl and at the combine and he was close to perfect in his routes.

If a GM doesn't like a prospect why would they alert other GMs. If anything you will want to build up the guys you don't like and tear down the guys you do like. Everything you hear from now on believe the opposite, unless they are know you are expecting a lie and they tell the truth to throw you off, but if you are expecting them to tell you the truth because they expect you to hear a lie then they may tell you a lie because they may expect you to think they are telling to truth, but if they expect you to expect that they....lololololololol (I was going to do an entire paragraph of that but I confused myself lolol)

GM's lie? Seriously?

Oh, and I never said I believe the story, but if Matt Flynn is any indication there could be truth to it. One thing we know is Philbin is the right guy to make the call.

Tom Silverstein (Milwaukee Journal) reports the Packers could franchise Greg Jennings, for a sign-and-trade deal with another team. Silverstein says the Packers might already have a team to trade Greg Jennings to. Silverstein also added, "an executive in personnel for an AFC team said he expected Jennings deal in FA would avg only between $7 & $9 million."

All this Jennings getting franchise talk could be a smoke screen. The Packers realize the Dolphins are desperate and may want them to bite. And perhaps they have inside knowledge, that Miami desires Jennings. Maybe that's why there was a report about Philbin apparently not liking Jennings as a player that came out.

And so it goes...
