What you are seeing is a rookie QB trying to play with:

A) an offensive line that cannot run block and looks INEPT at pass blocking
B) the rushing attack has gone in the toilet due to A)
C) no fear inducing WR or even a receiver that has to be accounted for

Without that play action pass, Tannehill has to fit the ball in perfectly, and one legitimate criticism of Tannehill is that at times he is inaccurate.

Defenses know the Oline cannot pass block, Tannehill has to throw quick or get sacked, so they are sitting on every short pass and taking away all the passing lanes.

The main problem with the offense IMHO: the Oline has turned into a MAJOR Weakness.

You cannot run an offense with an Oline playing like the Phins Oline is playing.

It certainly doesnt bode well for the rest of the season.

When I watch other games, I see packed stadiums (for the most part) and I understand there a million other things to do in Miami. Honestly, is it because the demographic has changed so much that there are not many "American Football" fans in the area, or just a lack of interest in a losing team. I see other teams with filled houses and they haven't been to the playoffs in years.

I agree Tannehill needs to have the gloves taken off, what happened to hurry up offense that was being talked about. Bess was running to many go routes last night which isn't what his strenght is.

Not a lot of disposable income along with terrible football with no hope in sight (or at least that's the feeling down here - I call it having the Ireland Greens instead of the Blues) just doesn't lend itself to people caring. If the Dolphins start winning, they'll sell out every game again. People miss being a winner, being proud of their team, and many folks feel like the franchise has thrown in the towel and just doesn't give a shit anymore. So, they're talking with their wallets, and now they're talking with apathy and humor. The Phins are a joke in Miami. They're the worst franchise in town right now, including the craptacular Marlins who at least have won something in the last 10 years.

Um, actually the Fins are not in fact the only team in NFL history whose fans stayed away from the games when they were bad.

The Colts, Cards and Rams moved because of this. Jags fans are hardly flocking to their games in droves. It's human nature. People want to be associated with winners, not losers. You cannot tell me Bills fans have packed the stadium just as much the last 10 years as they did when their team was reaching four straight SBs.

Buffalo looked packed Thurs. and they aren't going anywhere.
